2025 Australian Federal Election Campaign
Executive Summary
In collaboration with the Women’s Electoral Lobby (WEL), the project employed a multi-channel content strategy to foster informed, inclusive and active political participation. The campaign delivered a strategic social media initiative aimed at increasing public understanding of key policy issues affecting women in Australia. Through a series of accessible, non-partisan digital posts, the campaign translated complex policy debates into clear and engaging content to help voters better understand how different party platforms address gender equality and social policy.
The campaign focused on five priority issues: housing and homelessness, ending violence against women, early childhood education and care, reproductive and mental health, and income adequacy. Using policy explainers and comparative summaries of party commitments, the campaign highlighted how these issues shape women’s economic security, safety and wellbeing across different stages of life.
The project aimed to support informed civic participation, encourage engagement with policy issues and contribute to broader public awareness of the structural challenges affecting women in Australia.
